Holiday Gift Guide: Small Farms Edition

Around here we start celebrating Christmas promptly on November 1st and stay strong through January! In college, my husband and I would carve pumpkins and put up the Christmas tree on the same night. We’re fairly obnoxious. The eggnog, the Grinch, the big family meals, the spontaneous opening of gifts way too early. Give me all of it.

But there’s just something about sitting down to brainstorm gifts for those special people in my life that really warms my heart. Furthermore, when I can simultaneously bless a member of my family and support another family, I really feel the Christmas spirit.

I, admittedly, didn’t always prioritize shopping small. Perhaps it wasn’t until I started selling my own farm products that I realized the impact (both mentally and financially) that a single purchase can have for a small business.
